Yes. Because Election Day is not a federal holiday, post offices will remain open and mail will be delivered as usual across the United States on November 4th.
Will shipping services operate as usual?
According to UPS and FedEx, shipping operations will continue as normal on Election Day, Tuesday, November 4th. All collection and delivery services will be available and stores will remain open for customers. Both companies have confirmed that it will be “business as usual”.
Will banks stay open on Election Day 2025?
Yes. Election Day is not a federal holiday, so banks will operate as usual. Most major financial institutions will be open during normal business hours. Customers can also continue to use ATMs, mobile apps and online banking services without interruption.

New York City saw record voter turnout during the last election cycle, with more than 735,000 ballots cast during nine days of early voting, Fox News reported.
Sunday alone saw a historic turnout of 151,212 early voters, the highest single-day total in city history, according to the New York City Board of Elections. Officials said it was the largest early vote turnout in a year outside of a presidential election and nearly four times the number of early elections during the 2021 mayoral race.
