All arrangements are in place for Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s visit to the 1000 best things in the world.
The chief minister is expected to distribute pensions to beneficiaries under the NTR Bharosa scheme during his trip.
On Friday, District Collector A. Shyam Prasad and Superintendent of Police S. Satheesh Kumar inspected the helipad, public assembly point and access roads. They also reviewed security and crowd management plans with local officials.
The Collector told the officials to ensure smooth coordination among all departments and complete the arrangements without delay. Among the aspects examined were traffic, parking, drinking water and emergency facilities.
Mr. Satheesh Kumar said strict vigil would be maintained throughout the visit. “We have made layered security arrangements and additional forces have been deployed,” he said, adding that plainclothes police would be on guard to prevent riots.
Officials from various wings, including police, revenue, health and transport, have been posted at key locations to supervise the visit and handle public movement.
