The tournament has an eight-round knockout format. The top 50 seeds receive automatic byes into the second round, while the losers of the semifinals battle for third place.Each round consists of two classic timed games over the first two days. Players receive 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, followed by an additional 30 minutes for the rest, with 30-second increments per move.If necessary, tie-breaks will be played on the third day in a quick format. This three-day structure applies to all rounds of the entire tournament.
