Kerala Governor Rajendra Viswanath Arlekar has urged election officials in the state to ensure that no eligible voter is left out in the revised electoral roll. He was speaking after launching the Special Intensive Review (SIR) of Kerala voters here at the Raj Bhavan on Thursday (October 30, 2025).
The Governor appealed to the people of Kerala to wholeheartedly support and cooperate with the Special Intensive Review (SIR) process to make it speedy and glitch-free. The governor assured voters of all support. The governor also said that the revised electoral roll should be complete and should be more accurate and comprehensive to facilitate free elections.
Ratan U. Kelkar, Chief Electoral Officer, Kerala, explained the process and procedure of SIR to the Governor. Sharmila C, Additional Chief Electoral Officer; Krishnadasan P., Additional Chief Electoral Officer; Rusi RS, Joint Chief Electoral Officer; Madhu, Electoral Registration Officer and Benazir, Booth Level Clerk were also present on the occasion.
