Telangana MHSRB Releases Provisional Merit List for 433 Assistant Professor Posts

The Telangana Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board (MHSRB) on Tuesday (May 19) released the provisional merit list for the recruitment of 433 assistant professor posts in government medical colleges across 30 departments. The Board invited the candidates for certificate verification in the ratio of 1:3 against the announced vacancies.

The certificate verification will be conducted on May 22 and 23 at the Indian Institute of Health and Family Welfare, Vengalrao Nagar, Hyderabad, while May 25 has been designated as a reserve day for candidates who cannot attend on the scheduled dates.

MHSRB has issued a notification for the recruitment of 607 assistant professor posts in 34 departments of state medical colleges in 2025. Of these, recruitment for 174 positions in the departments of pediatrics, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, and anesthesiology has already been completed. The selection notification for these departments was released on April 4. Health Minister C. Damodar Raja Narasimha recently handed over the appointment orders to the selected doctors.
