Tata Starbucks, a 50:50 joint venture between Seattle-based Starbucks Coffee Company and Tata Consumer Products Limited, has announced its entry into the exclusive single origin coffee segment by acquiring three such specialty coffees grown at Nullore, Margolly and Karadibetta Estates in Kodagu district of Karnataka.
Mitali Maheshwari, Head of Product and Marketing, Tata Starbucks, said: “We are proud to share the distinct flavors and craftsmanship of Kodagu through these iconic estates, harvested for the first time for Tata Starbucks. Each coffee in the range reflects its unique terroir, biodiversity and the passion of its farmers, which comes alive in every cup.”
According to the company, these exclusive single-origin coffees join Starbucks’ range of coffees from the global coffee regions of Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin America.
