Aluva police arrested a youth on Saturday (October 25, 2025) for allegedly breaking into actor Dileep’s house. The suspect has been identified as Abhijith Baburaj, 29, of Manjeri.
The incident took place around midnight on Friday (October 24, 2025) at the actor’s residence at Kottarakkadav in Aluva. The residents of the young man’s house caught the young man and alerted the police. The police team arrived at the house and took the young man into preventive custody, saying that he could not explain the reason for his presence.
The youth was booked under Section 170 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, which allows the police to arrest a person without a warrant to prevent the commission of a cognizable offence.
