The suicide case of a doctor from Maharashtra has been in the limelight since October 23, when a 28-year-old doctor was found hanging in a hotel room in Phaltan town of Satara district. The victim named her landlord’s son and a police officer in her suicide note.
A social activist named Nitin Andhale shared the deceased doctor’s alleged statement to the commission of inquiry in a post on X and said, “The culprit in this incident must face severe punishment.”
According to reports, in June this year, the doctor lodged a complaint with the Deputy Superintendent of Police against PSI Badane, who had once threatened her at the hospital. However, according to the alleged reply given by the doctor to the police authorities in Satara district, no action was taken.
