Actress Lakshmi Menon has approached the Kerala High Court to quash the case in which she was accused of kidnapping and assaulting an IT employee in Kochi on the night of August 24, 2025.
The court recently granted anticipatory bail to Ms. Menon and others who were accused in a case registered by the Ernakulam North police. This was followed by submissions by the parties before the court that the disputes between them had been settled, with the impugned IT worker filing an affidavit that he had no objection to the grant of anticipatory bail to the actor.
The case was registered on August 25 based on a complaint filed by a youth from Aluva that he was allegedly kidnapped and assaulted by the actor and others following a brawl at a bar in the city on August 24.
The case was posted for hearing on November 7.
