Local Government Minister MB Rajesh inaugurated the renovated auditorium as well as the staff block at the Napier Museum here on Wednesday. The auditorium, renovated under the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation’s Smart City projects, will be available for cultural programmes, public meetings and exhibitions. The 200-seat auditorium has an LED display wall, lighting and modern audio systems.
The staff facilities block has been modernized to provide basic facilities for garden staff, including rest rooms, changing rooms, dining room, seating and wellness. There is also a nursery for plant exhibitions with native plants, ornamental plants, medicinal and aromatic plants, a greenhouse and an exhibition workshop with a capacity of 100 people.
