A case registered after the disappearance of the KTU answer sheet

The police registered a case after the answer sheet went missing during the Kerala Technological University (KTU) B.Tech evaluation. examination at Kundoormala Engineering College, Thalassery.

According to a police report, the incident took place on June 11, 2026, between 1:30 pm and 2:15 pm at an engineering college in Eranholi village. Nisha P., Assessor said that answer sheet of second year B.Tech. Power Electronics Drives electrical exam conducted by KTU has disappeared.

According to the first information report, an unknown person allegedly stole the answer sheet during the evaluation process “with dishonest intention”.

Based on the initiative, the police registered the case in accordance with § 305 letter a) and started an investigation. VV Deepthi, the investigating officer, has been assigned to investigate the incident. Further investigation is underway.
