Bharat Chaitanya Yuvajana (BCY) Party President Bode Ramachandra Yadav on Saturday (October 18, 2025) formally called on the family members of Tirumalasetti Lakshmi Naidu at his Darakanipadu residence in Gudlur mandal.
It may be recalled that Mr. Naidu was recently killed after being hit by a vehicle allegedly on the orders of a local TDP leader near Rallapad. The accused has since been arrested by the Nellore district police, but the incident has left the political landscape of the district in turmoil.
The BCY leader demanded ₹1 million as financial assistance to the family of the deceased and also sought a government job for a family member. In the same vein, he accused the government of letting down the Backward Classes (BC) community, which he said played a key role in voting the alliance to power.
Mr. Yadav also accused the Nellore police of allegedly remaining mum on Mr. Naidu’s request for security, ten days before the incident that led to his death. He also accused the police of trying to twist the facts and change the narrative to cover up their failures.
