The social media post came amid reports that Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have moved to the UK permanently.In an Instagram story, Vikas – who goes by vk0681 – wrote: “I’m not surprised there’s so much misinformation and fake news going around these days… Some people are so free and have a lot of time… Good luck guys.”

Reports claimed that the star cricketer was planning a permanent move to the UK with his Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and their two children. He further alleged that Virat Kohli had allegedly given the general power of attorney of his house in Gurugram for Rs 80 crore to his brother.

According to News18, the power of attorney gives Kohli’s brother full authority to handle all matters related to the property, including its maintenance and potential sales, while Virat is away. The move is said to have sparked discussions about the couple’s long-term plans to settle abroad.Kohli is currently in Australia for the three-match ODI series starting on Sunday. It will be his first appearance on the cricket field since the IPL final for Royal Challengers Bengaluru and for India since winning the Champions Trophy.Much attention in the three-match ODI series is on Kohli and Rohit Sharma, who could be playing their last series in Australia as their careers approach the final stages.Meanwhile, Anushka and their children, Vamika and Akaay, have been living in London since earlier this year. When not playing cricket, Kohli has been spotted spending time with his family in and around the British capital.Although talks are circling around the couple’s permanent residence, they have not said anything officially.
