JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research (JSS AHER), Mysuru, closed strategic cooperation with the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Chennai, through the signature of the Medical College Medical College.
The aim of the partnership is to support joint research initiatives, programs of exchange of faculties and students, cooperation based on innovation and efforts to build capacities in emerging areas of health care technologies, artificial intelligence, biomedical innovation and interdisciplinary education.
The event of the Memorandum signature began with the welcome address Vishala Kumar Gupt, Dean (academics), JSS Aher, followed by B. Suresh’s opening notes, for Chancellor JSS Aher, who emphasized the importance of such a cooperation effort to achieve greater results.
H. Basavan Gowdapp, Vice -President, JSS Aher, emphasized the importance of cooperation in strengthening institutional abilities and global reach.
T. Thyagarajan, a professional Chancellor, representing Vit Chennai, emphasized the commitment of the institute to develop joint innovation and translation research. Was accompanied by Ganesan R., Deputy Director, Career Development Center; Suchatha M., Director, Center for Innovation and Research for Progress in the field of health care; and Shridevi S., Deputy Director, Center for Neuroinformatics.
This was followed by a formal signing of a memorandum of understanding in the presence of university officials and the Institute.
“Cooperation represents a significant step towards bridging the academic community, research and industrial interfaces between two leading institutions. The use of the strengths of the JSS Aher in the medical sciences and Vit experts in the field of engineering and technology is determined to pay for top innovations.
