
Lokayukta Sleuths on Tuesday made a number of raids and searches and confiscated disproportionate movable and impossible assets worth more than 38 crore.
On the basis of specific intelligence, several teams of the raid officials performed at the same time in the houses of officials in Bengalur, Chitradurg, Davanagere, Haveri, Bidar, Udupi, Bagalakote and Hassan.
Officials also searched the residences, offices and residences of related officers in more than 48 locations and gained moving and impossible real estate allegedly disproportionate to known revenue revenue officials
Since V. Sumangal, Director, State School Education, Research and Training, Hosakehalli, Bengaluru, assets worth 7.32 GBP were confiscated. It is currently under suspension.
During the search in six places belonging to her, investigators found four places, five houses and 19 hectares of agricultural land, all worth CRORE 5.08 GBP. The rest were movable assets, including vehicles worth 22 lamps and shares and mutual funds worth 96.73 ₹.
Others attacked are Manjunatha G., doctor, maternity hospital, Malandra, Begaruru (3.24 GBP crore da); NK Gangamarigoowda, Inspector, Kiadb, Bengarura (Crore 4,66 GBP); N. Chandrashekar, Assistant of Director, Agriculture, Hollkere, Chitradurga (5,14 Crea); Jagadesh Nayka KH, engineer assistant, Kridl, Davanagere (Crore 2.04 GBP); BS Mane, junior assistant, food department, civic supply and consumer affairs, Davanagere (2.30 GBP Crea); Basavesh Shivappa Shidenur, EO infrastructure, Savanuru Taluk Panchayath, Haveri (1,67 crore); Ashok Sanrapa Araleshwar, income inspector, Taluk, Ranebennur, Haveri (Crore 2,25 ₹); DHOLAPPA, assistant director, horticultural department, Orad, Bidar (3,39 GBP); Lakshminarayana P. Nayak, RTO, RTO Office, Udupi (2,21 crore); Chethan, junior engineer, KBJNL, ARBC, Division-2, Kambateagi, Bagakote (1,67 crore); Jyothi Meri, FDA, Section of Account, Health and Family Department, Hassan (2.17 Crore)
Officials also verify assets and other documents when registering a case of corruption prevention against officials for further investigation.
