The two-day international Buddhist cultural conference “Bouddha Maha Sammelan-Manava Maithriy Payan 2025”, began on Tuesday in Mysuro.
The Mega Convention is jointly organized and the Association and Association of Karnataka Rajya Bhikkhu Sangha, Lord Buddha and Br Ambedkar and Vishwa Maitri Buddha Vihara on the Maharai College.
The main Minister Siddaramaiah will participate in the Convention on Wednesday at 12:40, which is in charge of the Mysuru HC Mahadevappa district and will participate in several other dignitaries.
Buddhist monks, followers and delegates from different parts of the country and arrived abroad to participate in the Convention.
The event started with an offer of honor of the Idol Buddha and a portrait of Ambedkara at the venue.
Jnanaprakash Swami from UrlingApeddi Mutt, Honorary Chairman of the Convention; Former mayor Purushottam, chairman of the organizational committee; And members of various Buddha and Ambedkar organizations were present.
Before the inauguration ceremony, a large procession was eliminated from the town hall to the Maharaja area. The procession was marked after paying tribute to the Ambedian statue in the town hall. Buddha Idol was transmitted in a flower carriage, accompanied by folk groups rising along the route.
