Corruption officials (ACB) in Karimnagar Range imprisoned the inspector of the mandala and his private assistant on Tuesday and received a bribe of 20,000 GBP from the complainant in the Rajanna Sircill district.
The defendant officer, Madishetta Venugopal, 38, works as a Mandal Surveyor in Tahsildar’s Office in Sircilla, reportedly demanded 30,000 GBP to explore the land and issue a cops related to the complainant’s mother.
After Venugopal initially led 10,000 ₹ 13th October, after the survey, he sought the remaining 20,000 GBP through his private assistant, 24 -year -old Sura Vamshi, who gathered the amount on his name.
ACB officials received the authorized money from holding Vamshi. Venugopal and Vamshi were arrested and made before a special court for ACB cases in Karimnagar.
Meanwhile, ACB urged people to report any demand for bribes of government employees by dialing a free number 1064 or contacting ACB Telangana via WhatsApp (9440446106) and official social media platforms. The identity of the complainants will remain confidential.
