
The main commissioner of Grage Bengalurur Authority (GBA) M. Maleshwar Rao ordered officials to secure the outer circular road (ORR), from Hebbal Junction to Nayandahalli, in good condition, while accelerating ongoing roads and sidewalks along the section.
On the Hebal Junction, Mr. Rao noted that the wet mixture was already laid and ordered that asphalting was immediately completed. He also ordered officials to build a pedestrian height crossing to facilitate safe movement for pedestrians at a busy intersection. The main commissioner ordered Redesign and the use of unused space set aside for the bus stand near the hebbal police station.
Mr. Rao, who checked the Bhadrappa Layout area, said that the damaged service road was developing as part of a high-density corridor project and ordered officials to coordinate with Rail Infrastructure Development Company Limited (K-Ride).
In Kanterava Studio Junction, he watched unclean surroundings and water leakage from the BWSSB line, then Mr. Rao called BWWSSB chairman on the spot and ordered the immediate completion of work, removal of debris and cleaning the intersection. He also ordered the removal of sidewalks, relocation of the transformer and the penalty of the owner of the property for storing the debris for construction on the sidewalk.
During the inspection, several abandoned vehicles were found along the ORR. GBA Commissioner ordered officials to immediately clean and identify the designated parking lot for such vehicles.
