The Kerala from Vishwa Hindu Parisad (VHP) was asked by the Kerala High Court, which was looking for a comprehensive audit of gold, silver and other valuables in temples managed by five albums by Devaswom.
Referring to reducing the weight of copper clothing closed in Sabarimale and similar incidents that are reported in many other temples, VHP claimed that many such valuables were maintained irresponsible without ensuring their purity. She was also looking for inspection of registers maintained by advice.
The organization claimed that the inclusion of two inspectors in the team of a special investigation team (SIT), which was recently established to explore the case of Sabarimal “theft of gold” could affect the authenticity of the spacecraft because they worked with Devaswom Vigilance in the period in which the alleged incidents occurred. They could also be influenced by the “ruling expenditure”.
In this context, a neutral central agency is required, says its petition. In this respect, the High Court demanded the instructions of the Central Investigation Office (CBI).
