A veteran actor, playwright, comedian and director of Rangayana Rajesab Muktamsab Talikots, popularly known as Raja Talikots, died on Monday evening at the KMC Hospital in Manipal in the UDUP district. He suffered a heart attack on Sunday evening.
He was 60 years old. He was survived by the actor’s wife Prema Talikoti, two sons and three daughters.
Raju Talita was in the film Kanda.
On Sunday evening he suffered a heart attack and was immediately moved to the KMC hospital in manipal. He did not respond to treatment and died on Monday evening, his son Bharat said.

But love for art brought him back to the theater, where he initially worked behind the stage before he accidentally gained the opportunity to act, which returned him to the stage. Subsequently, he continued to play different roles.
The fame resulted in his revival of a dramatic society founded by his father under the auspices, which he introduced many games, some of which he wrote and directed.
He was known for his comic roles, which subsequently took him to the Kannada film industry to bring him roles in more than 35 Kannada films.
His role of drunken in the game Kaliyugada Kuduka shot him, resulting in the sound cassette was released with success.
The game has seen nearly 40,000 programs presented throughout and abroad.
Raju Talikots was the recipient of several prestigious awards.
As a recognition of its service of the theater over four decades, the state government was appointed director Dharwad Rangayana. In August 2024 he took over the office and started various projects.
The actor’s son said that the last ceremonies would be carried out on Tuesday in Chikkasindgi in the Vijayapura district in Sindgi Taluk from Vijayapura.
