Farmers from Kanumalla, Palukuru and Oguru Panchayats, Kandukur Mandal in the SPSR Nellore district, claimed on Monday that the government was trying to win its land, for expanding the National Highway 167b from Singarayakond to Malacond, with mere compensation is about 2 crore for ACre.
Edara Narasaiah, a farmer and landowner, said: “Neither the government nor the official inform us about the land expansion. Last year, MRO announced that land owners adjacent to NH 167b must bring their arrivals and collect the amount of compensation.
Mahender Reddy, who expressed a similar opinion, said: “How can the government take away our country without consent? They offer mere lakhs for our land, which is worth Crores Rupees. We are not against the proposed expansion on the road, but we want the right replacement.”
About 30 farmers wrote letters to the main Minister Nara Chandrababa Naida, representatives of the main Minister Pawan Kalyan, Minister R&B BC Janardhan Reddy, IT Minister of Nara Loket, local MLA and MEPs who demand fair compensation according to the current market value of land.
The common collector of the Prakasam R. Gopalakrishn, who is a competent land for this project (CALA), said: “I confirmed the rate designed by Kandukur MRO and approved the sub-customer.
