Officials of the Forest Department in the Hassan district successfully re -designed three leopard chicks with their mother after a constant effort for more than seven days. Officials placed the chicks in the area where they watched the movement of their mother, and recorded the moment they met again using a trap on the cameras.
Three leopard chicks were seen in the field of sugar cane in Bediganahali, Channaayapatna Taluk 2. October. The farmers who dealt with the harvest of crops noticed the young, took them home and informed officials of the forest department. Later, the Channaayapatna Range officials arrived at the site and ordered farmers to temporarily stop their harvest work in the field. Officials tried to find the mother of Leopard after their pug brands. They placed the chicks in the box and installed cameras traps on the spot.
The next day, her mother Leopard arrived and took one chick. On the third day it took another. For the third chick, however, did not return.
The Hassan Representative of the Sourabh Kumar Forest Forest, who successfully made such missions in the past, said that the mother Leopard moved to a safer place along with both young. “To watch its location, we brought a cut off the dog from the Bhadra Tiger reserve. The pussy brands could watch about one km. With the help of an elephant working group working in Belur, we could locate Leopard’s presence.” “He said,” he said, “he said,” the Teopark said.
Deputy officer of the forest officer Hirisave KS Shankar and other employees played an important role in the unification of Cubs with his mother, added Mr. Kumar.
