Officer of IPS in C. Chandrashekhar published his book My Bad Story and spoke about his new book on Friday and said that “unbearable torture” underwent him as police commissioner Mysur in 2002 forced him to write a book.
The author interact with the audience about his book in the program together by Bahumukhi, a literary forum, the district unit of Shivamogg in Karnataka Union of work journalists and Shivamogg Bar Association in Shivamogg on Friday.
The book, as he said, concerned the transfer of events after newspaper reports indicating that in November 2002 he raid to a luxury hotel in Mysuru. “I was relocated from my post and I was not shown in a period of 100 days,” he recalled.
Mr. Chandrashekhar said he was charged with protection of people involved in an alleged act that remained unproven. The committee appointed by the chief judge of India was further announced by persons who recorded in the reports as accused, innocent. He wanted to know why he was chosen and buried under a pile of accusation.

The retirement officer said that the turnover of events left his mind permanent scars and his career by a police officer. Writing a book was not easy for him. “He again experienced the trauma I went through, almost led me to madness that one couldn’t even imagine. The level of emotional disruption was that I couldn’t even sleep,” he said.
Br Ravikanthe Gowd, the general inspector of the Eastern extent, said the book was an sincere description of a sensitive officer who had gone through difficult times. “Mr. Chandrashekhar has a spotless record as an officer. He has held all the newspapers all decades and reproduced them in the book to support his narrative,” the official stressed.
He also said that the book could be the source material for those who study journalism because it concerned various judgments on freedom of expression and dealt with many subjects, including contempt for court.
The police superintendent Shivamogg, police, President of the District President of KV Shivakumar and President of the Raghavendra Swama Bar Association were present.
