Work to remove jackets used for the construction of a two -lane corridor from the port of Chennai to Maduravoyal, from the Cooum River is approaching the construction of a four -storey corridor with a double procedure of 3,570 GBP.
A total of 238 temporary jackets were created for the construction of the piles.
Official sources in the Indian National Motorway Office (Nhai) said that only 60 pieces were to be removed and the supplier’s excavators have been busy.
This work is carried out to ensure free flow of water in the river during the northeast monsoon. Last year, Nhai also removed 89 jackets from near -numbered columns in front of the monsoon.
Meanwhile, a project that will reduce overload on city roads, especially those leading to the port, work in four packages. Proceeds well. From both levels, one will be exclusively for those who are heading for the port. That would mostly be heavy vehicles.
S. Padmanabhan, who is in the EXIM store, said the project would help the import community/export and definitely the harbor. However, the transfer of goods to Kattupalli and Ennore would not be through this corridor because they use an outer circular road.
The port comes with a dry dock, so it would also be possible to connect to this device, he said.
