Members of the Committee for the Agitation of Applicants and Other Organizations went to the streets in Belagavi on Wednesday and demand that the state government to occupy all waiting vacancies in various government offices and public sector companies.
Demonstrators gathered in the Rani Channamma circle and marched to the office deputy commissioner. They submitted a memorandum to the main minister through the Commissioner’s deputy.
They said that 2,86 lamp contributions were released in various departments of the state government. These differed from several thousand contributions in public sectors.
Subsequent governments could not perform the necessary meeting even in vital sectors such as education, health, housing and energy. The head of the department carries out the work of various departments by accepting employees on a contractual basis or outsourcing from private agencies, they said.
In both of these situations, workers will not receive social security benefits, pension benefits and health insurance or other facilities. These employees work on a container in the name of the daily wage, contract, semi -cloth, guest or other measures, they said.
The Congress Government, which came to power by promising to create one lake job, could not maintain its promise.
According to a report, 553 people committed suicide in the state in 2019 due to unemployment. Reports such as these should serve as a warning to the government and the general public, they said.
Officers and workers in the medical sector after the completion of nursing B.Sc, paramedical and pharmacy courses work on the basis of outsourcing contracts, they said.
