On Tuesday, the State Commission for Human Rights ordered the President against President and Director Surabhi Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS), Siddipet, for their performance before the investigation committee.
The Commission responded to the complaint of one Meruga Karthik, a student of Simse. According to his earlier complaint, the College illegally retained its original study certificate and, as a result, could not record the same for the postgraduate acceptance announced by Kaloji Narayan Rao University of Health Sciences (Knruhs). The last date for recording certificates is 8 October.
He also recommended KRUNS and related bodies that, after the Human Rights Protection Act, should not force the candidate to submit the original certificates for two weeks.
