A 45 -year -old woman died after a moving train on Sunday afternoon, while she performed at the Malkajgiri railway station.
According to her daughter Bhavan Chowdari, the victim, identified as Kamaladevi from Beeramgud in the Sangareddy district, traveled from Marwar in Rajasthan to Hyderabad to the train number 17606 Kacheguda Express.
“Mother and daughter joined the train from Marwar on the night of 4 October,” said the officer of the government railway police.
About 14:20 5 October, when the train stopped on the platform number 2 Malkajgiri Railway Station, Kamaladevi allegedly slipped and fell under the moving train while trying to get down. Both of her legs were interrupted in the incident.
The railway police and passengers immediately rushed to her help and moved her to the Gandh hospital in an ambulance where she was admitted to the emergency department. However, the doctors declared dead at 15:32 while treated.
