On Sunday, the Minister of the Union and the cooperation of the AMIT Shah Amit Shah called Ethanol to be a transformation initiative for the Indian sugar cooperatives, attributed it to improving financial health and supporting rural prosperity. He also assured Maharashtra about the rapid central support of farmers affected by recent floods.
Reaching the assembly of farmers in the Ahilyanagar district after the opening capacity of Dr. Vittthalrao Vikhe Patil Cooperative Sugar Factory, said: “Since the blueji became the prime minister, our teams were stronger, more resistant and more persecuted.”
He added: “Padma Shri Vithalrao Vikhe Patil Patil promoted her first cooperative sugar factory, a visionary step that brought prosperity not only to farmers in Maharashtra, but also in countries like Gujarat, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh.”
Mr. Shah urged the sugar cooperatives to accept more fed ethanol during the season without crushing by using vegetable waste, corn and rice. “This will ensure year -round productivity and contribute to our national energy objectives. The National Society for Cooperative Development Development is ready to finance these conversions and cooperatives will be favored over private entities for public procurement.”
He also said that the Indian market 140 people Crore can only be used when citizens actively promoted indigenous and locally produced products.
Under the leadership of the Prime Minister Narendry Modi, Mr. Shah said that the number of sugar mills increased by 67, sugar production increased by 10 lakh tons, the distillers doubled and the stirring of ethanol in gasoline reached 20%. He also appreciated the establishment of the Ministry of Cooperation and called it a historical step that seized the mills on sugar mills through programs within the National Cooperative Development Corporation.
When he turned to recent heavy rains, he said that permanent crops and agricultural land were damaged over more than 60 lakh hectares in the mahara. “I had a detailed meeting with the main Minister Dendra Fadnavis and the representative of the main ministers of EKNATH Shinde and Ajit Pawwar. On behalf of Modiji, I assured them that once a detailed message is submitted, the center will act without delay,” he said.
He added that the Center released 3,132 Crore last year, of which 1,631 Crore in April, while the Maharashtra government provided 2,215 Crore, which benefits over 31 lakh farmers. Immediate relief measures included 10,000 GBP monetary assistance, 35 kg of food grains per family, suspension of loans, released E-KYC standards and surrender of land and school fees.
Mr. Shah also acknowledged that all the National Democratic Alliance MLA contributed a monthly salary to the embossed fund, showing the solidarity of the agricultural community.
At the GST, he appreciated the government Modi for providing great relief through reforms. “GST rates have been reduced to 395 products. On many food and drinks, it has decreased to zero.”
In a politically charged statement, Mahayuti praised the alliance for renaming Ahmednagar to Ahilyanagar and Aurangabad to CHHhatparati Sambhajinagar. “I feel honored to be here in this country, in this district, which now proudly bears the name Ahilyabai. Such a change is only under the guidance of those who follow the footsteps of CHHhatApati Shivaji Mahara,” he said.
He added: “Those who celebrate Aurangzeb’s heritage should never have the courage to rename Aurangabad after Dharamveer Sambhaji Maharaj.”
Meanwhile, opposition leaders criticized the Mahashra’s government’s decisions to save retribution to the sugar cane mills to finance the flood relief and called it unfair to the cultivators. The nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) Sharad Pawar chief asked why sugar cane growers should bear costs, and urgently on the government to withdraw £ 15 per tonnes.
Main Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that the contribution came from the profit of the mill, not the earnings of farmers and accused critics of distortion.
