Vizianagaram Utsavalo began on a big note on Sunday and introduced the cultural and traditional history of Fort City. Sobha Yatra was organized to mark the beginning of a two -day UtSaval in a historic city. The state government organizes this annual festival on Sirimanotsavam Sri Pydimamba, which will take place on October 7 (Tuesday).
Together with the Minister of the Interior Vangalapudi Anith and the Minister for MSME Kondapalli Srinivas, the State President of TDP PALLA Srinivasa Rao Sobha Yatra from the temple to the Fortress of Vizianagarama opened. Artists from different parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh showed their talent in the presence of dignitaries. The artists showed Dhimsu, Tappet Gulla, Karra Samuu, Dance of Garagala, Kolaatam, Puliveshal. During the festival, the performance of the sword of the baby’s swords attracted.
On this occasion, Mr. Srinivasa Rao said that such events helped you know the younger generations and appreciate the great culture and traditions of urban heritage.
Within Utsaval, a flower show was organized on Mansas. The exhibition of photography paid tribute to the victims of soldiers and the exhibition Ascience was organized in Fort. Folk artists showed their talent in the Lions Community Hall.
Collector S. Ramsundar Reddy, a common collector of Madhavan Sedhavan, superintendent of the AR Damodar police and other higher officials coordinated the arrangements in various places.
Mr. Ramsundar Reddy reported the media that this year Sirimanotsavam will be carried out from 15:00 to 16:30, adding that with the availability of Stree Shakti – free bus scheme, more devoted women are likely to take part in the festival. Damodar said that approximately 2,500 police workers would be deployed to ensure safety during Sirimanotsavam and Tholell Utsavam that would start on Monday.
