Wyatt Hodge and Georgie Hodge, a football agent, married after several years on June 10, 2024 at London’s Chelsea Old Town Hall. The couple announced they were expecting a baby girl in late 2025 and welcomed their daughter in May 2026, making them first-time parents.

While the celebration grabbed the headlines, Wyatt Hodge’s knock was equally spectacular. After opening the innings, she smashed an unbeaten 105 off just 62 deliveries, hitting 13 fours and a six. She shared a brilliant 135-run opening partnership with Amy Jones to help England to a tournament-record 219 for one, the highest total in the history of the Women’s T20 World Cup.
Her innings was the seventh century in Women’s T20 World Cup history and led England to a crushing 87-run victory over Sri Lanka. Returning from parental leave just weeks after becoming a mother, Wyatt Hodge could hardly have written a better comeback. A century, a celebration and a family bond created one of the defining moments of the opening day of the tournament.
England won the match by 87 runs. They next face Ireland on June 16 at the Rose Bowl in Southampton.
