There was a question about the death of one and a half -year -old boy taken to Shishh Gruh in Anantapur, after his body was allegedly buried without informing about higher officials.
According to sources, a woman from Kalyandurg gave her child 30. September to her child, and quoted financial problems that prevented her from taking care of him. The child, born underweight, received treatment of health complications.
According to proper legal procedures, the boy was taken into care for the department and moved to Shishu Gruh in Anantapur. Later he was admitted to the General Hospital of the Anantapur Government to further treatment.
ICDS project director M. Nagamani told Hindu that the child had suffered diarrhea on Dasar (October 2) and died. Shishu Gruh officials reportedly informed the district collector and ICDS project officer about death through WhatsApp and completed the final ceremonies next morning.
This matter came to light after it was revealed that the last ceremonies of the child had been made without properly warning higher officials. After the collector O. Anand ordered the investigation and sought a report on the cause of death and subsequent development, Mrs. Nagamani said.
She added that although Shishu Gruh officials asked the doctor to GGH to admit the child to treatment two days earlier, the child was sent back and the doctors said his condition was stable.
Meanwhile, the tension reportedly appeared among Shishu Gruh employees, with manager and Ayahs accusing each other of the incident. “We issued notes about the manager and Ayah,” Mrs. Nagamani said.
