Captain India Harmanpreet Kaur continued the politics of the team without Handshake against the Archirivals of Pakistan during the ceremony of throwing before the collision of the World Cup of ICC women in Colombo, Colombo.
Minister BCCi Devyit Saikia confirmed that there was no guarantee that players from both sides during or after the match or after the Indian team of India were adopted during the Asian Cup at the beginning of this year.
“This policy remains unchanged. There is no directive from the Board of Directors to ask the player to shake their hands. The emphasis is on the game,” Saikia said, adding questions about whether both teams would observe traditional pre -gestures of sports behavior.
This problem first gained traction during Asia’s male Cup, when India and Pakistan faced three times – including in the finals that India won. Pakistani coach Mike Hesson revealed that India refused to shake her hand after the first meeting of AS to communicate political sensitivity and security concerns. The misunderstanding reportedly deepened after India refused to receive the trophy of winners from the Asian cricket council (ACC) of President Mohsin Naqvi, who also serves as chairman of the Pakistanic cricket council (PCB).
The Indian government argued that sports ties with Pakistan would be limited strictly to global or neutral tournaments without planning any bilateral orders in the near future. Both nations have not played a bilateral series since 2012–2013 and their World Cup accessories in Colombo are held under strict security.
In particular, Pakistan is located in Colombo throughout the World Cup of Women, while the Indian Group Stadium is divided between Guwahati and Colombo. The current policy ensures that if Pakistan qualifies to the semifinals or the finals, these matches will also be played in the capital of Sri.
According to the initiated BCCi, access without Handshake was established before a short four-day conflict in April, followed by a deadly militant attack on tourists in India, managed by Kashmir-Incident, who further tense diplomatic relations.
India launched a World Cup campaign on a strong note at the beginning of this week and defeated the co -owner Sri Lanka by 59 runs at the rain affected in Guwahati.
