
The Council concerning a deliberate attempt to perish both Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) and the sacred of the Sabarimala Temple has decided to proceed to the Supreme Court and seek a comprehensive investigation in the Golden weight in Sabarimale since 1998 as well as alleged abuse.
In the official statement, the Board of Directors stated that the court ruled on the nature and extent of such an investigation. He stressed that the golden leaves were sent to Chennai for repairs strictly according to the prescribed protocols and that the total weight of 14 leaves increased from 397 GM to 407 GM after the work was completed.
The Board of Directors also noted that after the 2019 repair shops, a 40 -year warranty was provided by intelligent creations and sponsor. This warranty was the basis on which TDB asked the sponsor in 2025 to make repairs.
The Council rejected the charges of abuse of 4 kg of gold and said that such unfounded claims were intended to tune his image and undermine the sacred of the temple.
Within the system of monetization of the golden stiffness and according to the High Court directives, the Travancore Devaswom Council has transferred 467 kg of gold to a reserve bank after it subjected it to the state audit. The Board carefully categorized all valuables under the supervision of the Commissioner Thiruvabharanam and submitted these records to the court.
Meanwhile, the Council also worked with anything Chennai to develop specialized software for digital documentation of all temple valuables, including Thiruvabharanam, in a safe cloud system. These records would also be submitted to the court.
