The meaning of five days diwali

NAKA CHATURDASHI / CHOTA DIWALI (October 20): This day is celebrated in memory of the victory of Lord Krishna over the demon Narakasura. The devotees are carried out by Abyang Snan (ritual bath with oil) before sunrise.
Lakshmi Puja / Main Diwali (October 21): The main day of the festival, when the goddess Lakshmi is welcomed to homes and workplaces. The Pradosh Kaal is a key time for Puja, followed by lighting lamps, sweets distribution and fireworks celebration.
