Minister of energy Gottipati Ravi Kumar took part in the Roadshow organized by the Andra Pradesh Economic Development Council (APEDB) with the support of Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Paris on Friday.
He emphasized investment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh and invited French industrialists to the summit CII Partnership Summit, which will be held in Visakhapatnam 14 and 15 November.
The Minister said the state was an ideal destination for foreign investment in India, with opportunities in agriculture, food processing, electronics, green energy, medicines, cars and science and technology.
Mr. Ravi Kumar also outlined the key features of the integrated pure energy policy of the state-2024, which aims to attract global investors to the renewable energy sector. He called on French investors to take advantage of the initiatives of “business in business” and friendly industry policy.
As part of his visit, the Minister met with representatives of EDF, one of the leading French companies for renewable energy, and urged them to invest in Andhra Pradesh.
Apen-CV CM Saikanth Varma, Indo-French Business and Industrial President Coumar Ananda and Indian embassy Shalia Shah were also present.
