Torchlight Parade took place on Thursday night on the Bannimantap land on Thursday evening the end of Dasar celebrations, which began 22 September.
The event takes place every year after the completion of the well -known vijayadashmi procession and the Governor Thaawwarchand Gehlot was inaugurated.
It was a full house in Bannimantap Grounds, which has a capacity of almost 30,000 spectators, thanks to the popularity of the event in which police staff, including trainees, transmits Torchlight units and depicts various formations by synchronized movements. The event was about 300 police trainees who held the torches on both hands.
The mounted police were a festive show, followed by “Feu-de-Joie” or festive fire. The highlight of the event was a light and sound show, followed by cultural events that meant introducing a set of drummers and dancers.
Karnataka armed reserve police (Karp), Mysur City, showed its skills in caring and jumping. Horses mounted society set out for rhythmic music and received applause from the audience.
This was followed by a drone show, where nearly 3,000 drones were used to produce various formations, including an elephant carrying Howdah, the goddess Chamundeshwari, a jump tiger, a peacock, etc., along with a presentation of Chamundeshwari Electrity Supply Corporation.
The main Minister Siddaramaiah, the Minister responsible for the Mysoru district HC Mahadevappa and others were present.
