The Four-time England Champion performed a sensational start of the World Cup campaign with a 10-brief victory over the South Africa Republic at the Barsapa Stadium in Guwahati. Proteas, based on Pakistan based on the 2-1 triumph, were unable to offer any resistance because England packed the game for only 34.5 overs.
The victory is also one of the third biggest victories in England in the history of the World Cup of Women in terms of the remaining balls. Their previous prizes of milestones include the massive triumph of 243-mocks over the South Africa in 2013 in Cuttack and the 10-branch victory against India in Nelson in 1982, where they ended with 231 balls.
This strong performance not only emphasized the dominance of England, but also saw them moved Australia to the top of the point table and boasted a healthy clean run of +3,773.
Bowlers dismantle South Africa
England dominated right from the beginning after Bat Bat first decided, because South Africa folded at only 69 at 20.4 overs – their second lowest women’s World Cup after being in Bradman in Bowral in Bowral in 2009.
Linsey Smith struck Laura Wolvaardt at the opening, followed by the release of Tazmin Brits in her next. Lauren Bell then presented Sune Luus before Smith declared a valuable goal Marizanne Kapp to leave the Proteas winding.
Captain NAT SCIVER-BRUNT complicated the torment of rapid blows and released Anneke Bosch and Chloe Tryon. Sinaloo Jafta, with fighting 22, including three four, was the only body that showed resistance before Sophie Ecclestone bowed it. Ecclestone and Charlie Dean climbed out of the tail with two goals to complete the routine.
With the exception of the jafty, no South African dough could reach double characters. Proteas clueless against the English attack on a spin-heating attack lasted a forgotten trip, relaxed by tireless discipline and control over the pitch.
England vs. Southern Africa, highlighting women at the World Championship
England cruise home in Guwahati
England has never been under pressure in their run-hoses when they conveniently followed the target with up to 215 balls to save. Opening Tammy Beaumont and Amy Jones detonated calm and made sure that there were no anxious moments in an effort to a modest sum of South Africa.
KAPP bowed the disciplined first charm, maintained the scoring rate under control, and allowed only 39 runs in PowerPlay. Since the goal was so small, the pressure was never on English. Beaumont and Jones turned intelligently and ensured that the persecution remained completely under their control.
South Africa had a short chance of breaking through when the score was 55 years old, but Masabata Klaas spilled the catch of her own bowling. Jones continued to the end with a stable 40 of 50 balls, including six borders, while Beaumont remained undefeated for 18 out of 35 vans. The couple joined the undisturbed 73-Runa partnership, which also proved to be the first 50 or more opening stand of the ongoing World Championship.
For South Africa, they will have to quickly regroup and deal with their shortcomings before Monday 6 October faces new Zealand Sophie Devine at the Stadium Holkar in Indore.
