
To show 100 years of Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS), Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday (October 1, 2025) released a specially designed memorial postage stamp and emphasized Sanghu’s contributions to the nation. When he described the RSS as the embodiment of “timeless national consciousness” by 2047, he said that in the mission to build developed India by 2047 would be a major contribution.
The 100 GBP coin, published in Delhi in the International Center, contains a national character on the one hand and the image of “Bharat Mat” in “Varad Mudra” (a manual position representing or awarding a blessing), with a lion that is treated Sownayamsevaks, on the other. On this occasion, PM stressed that it was perhaps the first time in the history of independent India, that Bharat Mata had appeared on the Indian currency. PM praised RSS, said that a hundred years ago, on a sacred opportunity, Vijayadashmi, Sangh was founded. He said it wasn’t a brand new creation. River Basin Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, the founder of RSS, Mr. Modi described in detail how Mr. Hedgewar and many Swayamsevaks actively participated in the struggle of freedom and were even imprisoned in their struggle for the nation. He said Sangh also provided support and protection for many freedom fighters.
PM Modi also pointed to the “plot” that was planted to defame Sangha, and remembered how the second Sarsanghchalak Madhav Sadashivrao Golwalkar and even imprisoned were fake.
“But Sangh has never allowed to take rooting. Swayamsevaks believes we are not separated from society. Society is formed from us. This feeling of unity with society and unshakable belief in the institution and constitutional institution gave Swayamsevaks to the perseverance of mind and maintained them sensitive to society, even in the most important crises,” PM said.

The PM, who drew the parallel between the RSS and the river that nourishes every region he passes, said Sangh’s Journey reflects it, with various associated organizations involved in all aspects of life – education, agriculture, social well -being, tribal ascension, tribal, art and science and work sectors.
“Although they are diverse in their fields, they all embody one spirit and one determination that is first a nation,” PM Modi said.
He stressed how Sangha’s associated entities such as Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Sewa Bharti, Vidya Bharti and Vidyalay, who work in the most affordable parts of the country and educate and educate traditions, customs and values of tribal communities. Panch Parivartan (five changes) is a frame of RSS for building nations in the coming years. Five points include the creation of self -confidence among people, creating social harmony by preferring marginalized, instilling social and cultural values in the family and civic meaning between masses together with environmental protection.
“Sangh, led by these resolutions, now begins its journey to its next century. In the mission to build developed India by 2047 will be Sangh.
The RSS has been completing 100 years on the occasion of Vijayadashmi’s falling on October 2, which coincides with Gandhi Jayanti. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat will deliver his main speech on the occasion of the main guest of former Ram President Nath Kovind.
