The High Court in Telelangana dismissed a criminal proposal, which challenged the direction of the Audit Court, which canceled the court order to issue a trial against two police staff, one of whom shot a person who attempted a robbery in Zheerarabad 22 years ago.
The justice of Juvvadi Sridevi from HC said there were no reasons to interfere with the order received by the revision court. According to the records, police officer (now police director) P. Sreedhar Reddy and Constable N. Gopal (along with other police officers) took the patrol on the night of the night of 20 and 21.
When they entered the grocery store, one of the perpetrators later identified as Mohammed Shafi Gopal’s rifle when Sreedhar Reddy fired four rounds at him, resulting in the death of Shafi. The report on the high investigation said the officer fired in self -defense. The action was justified and said it was not excessive.
After the protest complaint Lateef Mohammed Khan conducted a CID investigation and concluded that the policeman fired in a private defense. Finally, Mohammed Khan filed a protest petition before the court court court in Zheerarabad, which issued an order to issue a trial (issuing a summons or order after recognition of a crime and finding a sufficient reason to continue) against the DSP and constable.
Both police staff moved the inspection court (main judge in Medak, Sangareddy), who canceled the judge. Mohammed Khan filed a criminal petition. He was looking for the cancellation of the review court order and the direction of conduct against the case of the murder against DSP and constable.
The judge ruled that there was no credible material that would create a nice facie that both police officers had committed a crime of murder. On the contrary, the material strongly indicated that the incident occurred in the circumstances of private defense, while the police fulfilled their official duties, the judge said in the order.
