
For decades, government jobs in India have been romantized as the final career goals, advantages and prestige that all plunged into one. However, a recent video ekaatmya, an advisory psychologist, caused an intense debate online after tearing the illusion of its raw and emotional testimony.
In the video now viral Instagram you can see ecoatmya as it falls apart in tears, while the textual overlap reads: “What looks like in government work.” Along with this, she shared a hard -affected remark about her work experience in government settings.

“A culture of a fierce work … no respect for employees”
Ekaatmya claimed that behind the expected magic of the government lies a toxic environment that released her professionally and personally. She stated shocking conditions that she said to have faced at work:
- A poor work culture and lack of respect for employees
- Harassment and overload of staff
- Rampant Patriarchan
- No basic devices – “Sometimes I clean and mopping,” she said
- Broken doors, non -functional computer laboratories, no dining rooms
- No room for advice, force her to advise students on the stairs and corridors
Although it was adopted as a counseling psychologist, she claimed that for most of the time she was consumed for examination duties and substitution periods, so she left only a small to no space for the real work he was trained.

“I’m a psychologist, but it took my tax on my mental health.”
Perhaps the lightest part of her testimony is the irony she emphasized:
