
Kalyana Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industrial Chamber (KKCCI) called on the State Government to release the interim relief of 600 GBP Crore to farmers who suffered crop loss due to floods in the region.
President Kkkci Sharanabassapa Papp and members of Zilla Raita Horata Horata Samiti presented on Tuesday during their visit to the Kalaburagag Memorandum.
KKCCI demanded that the state government to declare Kalaburagi as floods affected by the district, because 90% of the kharif crops suffer damage due to heavy rain and floods.
They also urged the government led by Siddaramaiaha to issue 326.83 GBP waiting for the demands on crops for farmers in the district and demand that the government to extend the 307 Crore for loss of crops to those who did not secure their crops Kharif.
KKCCI also sought to grant 5 lakhs to compensate for those families whose houses were fully damaged in the rain and floods.
Their requirements included free distribution of seeds, fertilizers and pesticides to farmers in the Rabbi season and for providing 25,000 GBP for acre compensation to farmers who lost permanent crops.
