“Mr. President, next time you have a lot to say about me, do not dilute through racist and false video AI,” Jeffries told reporters on Capitol steps. “When I’m back in an oval office, tell my face.”
Jeffries appeared with dozens of domestic democrats, less than 14 hours before the possible closure of the federal government.
Schumer: “Angry attacks, not negotiations”
Schumer also condemned a changed video that falsely portrayed him to make derogatory remarks about Democrats who were looking for support from immigrants.
“If you think your weaning is a joke, it just proves what we all know: You can’t negotiate,” Schumer published on X. “You can only throw seizures.”
Democrats call goop “lying on health care”
Jeffries later said Lawrence O’Donnell MSNBC that the video was a “malignant distraction” from the Republicans’ efforts to attack health care.
“They lie about what we ask,” Jeffries said. “We have shown that the Federal Law is currently prohibiting non -proof immigrants to accept comprehensive health care paid federal US tax dollars. No one requests this law.”
Instead, he claimed that the Democrats were working to defend the health care of Americans “under a tireless attack of Republicans this year”.
What did video ai show
Ai-manipulated clip, published on Monday evening, depicted Jeffries quietly under the overlapping Sombrero when she played Mariachi Music. Schumer, his voice changed, was forced to say that the Democrats lost their support between voters and needed “illegal extraterrestrials without health care” to ensure voices.
