Rural development and Minister Panchayat Raj Priyank Kharge traveled on Monday after floods in Chittapur Taluk from the district of Kalaburagi, where swollen Bhima flooded large areas.
Mr. Kharge, accompanied by the deputy Commissioner Fauzia Tarannum and the CEO of Zilla Panchayat Bhanwar Singh Meen, visited on the boat affected by floods and evaluated the damage caused by heavy rain.
The Minister also worked with disabled families and listened to their complaints.
Officials said that nearly 300 victims affected by floods belonging to 186 families were moved to a nearby relief center in the village of Kadabur.
The minister also visited the villages of Kumanoor and Honagunti and the city of Wadi, which were affected by floods.

Mr. Kharge said that during his visit to Tuesday, a comprehensive report on flood damage will be presented during his visit. The damage will be notified of the main minister, he said, adding that the main minister will conduct an air survey of 11 points marked as the worst area in the region.
In order to determine the overall damage to the flood, a survey will be carried out after the rain stops, Mr. Kharge said, reiterating that the government led by Congress issued almost 1,400 GBP Crore for assistance measures.
Mr. Kharge suggested that the BJP leaders take the delegation to the center and insist to simplify the instructions of the national resources of reaction to disasters.
