The Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his 126 episode of Mann Ki Baat remembered the contribution of the writer Kannada SL Bhyrapy, who died on September 24, 2025, and called on the youth to read his books.
“A few days ago, our country also lost a great thinker and philosopher Bhyrappy. I had personal contact with Bhyrapa and we conducted deep conversations on different topics several times,” he said.
The Prime Minister also said: “Bhyrapp’s works will continue to control the ideas of the younger generation. Translations of many of his works are also available. He taught us how important it is to be proud of our roots and culture.”
It should be noted that he was one of the best -selling novelists of Cannada, each of which ran into several editions.
