
The Chief Commissioner Bengaluru District Election Clerk and Chief Commissioner Bengalur (GBA) M. Maleshwar Rao ordered officials to perform a special summary of the 2025 voters without any impact. He said that the complaints concerning the voter list must be immediately resolved and the required information should be immediately provided.
A special summary revision for 2025 comes in the middle of the accusation of manipulating with an electoral role by the leader of the opposition in Lok Sabha and the head of the congress Rahul Gandhi.
Mr. Rao, who spoke at a meeting with the party representatives at the GBA Central Office, said the revision process was carried out in 8,972 election stations in the Bengalur district, according to the directives of the Indian Election Commission.
“Preparations for exercise are already underway. The meeting took place at the levels of other district election officials and electoral registration officials and representatives of political parties were asked to participate in discussions at the level of constituencies kept by electoral registration officials,” Rao added.
Mr. Rao also stated that the stall levels (BLOS) supervised the revision were instructed to work on holidays with all the necessary measures. Political parties were also asked to actively participate and appoint stalls to support this process. Special camps will be organized to facilitate the revision process and the meetings will be held every 15 days to share updates and information, he said.
