
US President Donald Trump was maintained by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif waiting almost an hour before a meeting at the White House on Thursday, although interviews were charged as a sign of improving links between Washington and South Asian nuclear energy.
Sharif was one of the eight higher officials of Arab or Muslim countries who met this week with President Trump on the outskirts of the UN General Assembly and joined interviews aimed at finding a strategy to end Israel’s war in Gaza.
Before his planned meeting with Sharif and Field Marshal Trump addressed reporters from an oval office and said, “They come and can be in this room right now. I don’t know because we’re late.”

Sharif arrived in the White House shortly before 17:00 when Trump signed the executive orders and spoke to reporters. The meeting between these two leaders was closed for the media, while the Pakistan delegation left the White House at 18:18

September 23, Sharif also had an informal exchange with Trump after a meeting between the US President and the leaders of eight Islamic Arab countries, including Pakistan.

The tension expanded after India increased the purchases of discounted Russian oil after the invasion of Ukraine Moscow in February 2022, allowing Trump to store steep tariffs in India in an effort to put indirect economic pressure on Russia.
In addition, Washington and Islamabad signed a business agreement in July that it aims not only to reduce tariffs for Pakistan, but also prepares a way for US investment in the development of predominantly unused oil reserves in the country.
Sharif found kindness with Trump after publicly supported him at the price of the Nobel Peace Prize and appreciated the role of administration in relieving tension between Pakistan and India. Both neighbors with nuclear armed agreed to the ceasefire in May after interviews mediated in the US, which helped to destroy the most serious military distance between them in decades.

“It looks like we have lost India and Russia to the deepest, darkest, China,” Trump wrote. “May they have a long and prosperous future!”
Trump, however, recently took a warmer solution with Modim.
Last week, Trump offered that business problems with India could be solved.
“I am pleased to announce that India and the United States are continuing negotiations on dealing with commercial barriers between our two nations,” Trump said in a contribution to Truth Social.

“I look forward to talking to my very good friend, Prime Minister Modi in the coming weeks. I am sure that both of our big countries will not be a successful conclusion!”

Trump hit India’s tariffs up to 50% last month after depositing another 25% tariff on Earth related to its purchase of Russian oil, which helps Moscow to pay for the war in Ukraine.
