Damaged roads in several places in Vizianagararam have caused the inhabitants over the past few months of inconvenience. Already in poor condition, the roads were further damaged due to recent rains. Daily commuting became the Hercules task.
Areas such as cantonment, rail goods, shelter, Balaji market, factory intersection of ice, dharmapuri is one of the worst affected areas. The lack of the right drainage system, except for intervention in tanks and public places, has deteriorated the situation.
The senior municipal official told Hindi that the correction work was launched on these routes. However, overflows from drainage during the rainy season led to further damage, especially along the ice factory connecting dharmapuri, rail goods and channel routes.
The President of the Balaji Buddep Market Rao referred to the new collector S. Ramsundar Reddy to visit the places and take the necessary steps.
