Minister of the Ministry of School Bihar Rural Works Ashok Choudhary on Tuesday (September 23, 2025) sent a notice of defamation of the party founder Jan Suraj Prashant Kishhor over the accusations of Mr. Kishor that the Minister has accumulated assets of 200 CRORE, including Benami, in two years. He demanded that Mr. Kishhor either offered an unconditional apology or faced a civic suit that was looking for damage to 100 crore.
Mr. Choudhary, who is also the National Secretary General of JD (U) in a press release, said that “unsubstantiated and misleading” accusations of Mr. Kishor are the result of his panic and frustration.
The Minister stated that he had previously filed an action for a slander in another matter against Mr. Kishhor, in which he was convened by the chief judge of Patn in complaints No. 6989/2025, 17 October 2025.
“Prashant Kishhor was scared after receiving the summons of the court and in this panic arranged a press conference and began absurd and false accusations. The alleged value of 200 crore worth cited by Prashor is obvious,” said Mr. Choudhary.
Accusation
Last week, Mr. Kishhor called Mr. Choudhary the most corrupt politician in Bihar and claimed that in 2021 he bought 23 Katthas from Benami’s country in Bikram, Patnu, using the name of his personal assistant and transferred it to his daughter’s name, Samastipur MP Shambhav Choudhary.
“Ashok Choudhara has accumulated assets worth more than 200 crore over the last two years. After his daughter’s involvement, land worth hundreds of rupees would be purchased via Manav Vibhav Vikas Trust. Confidential members such as Jiyalal Arya and Anita Kunal should come and clarify the situation. The trust is associated with Mrs. Shambhavi’s father -in -law, late Kishhore Kunal.
Mr. Kishhor claimed that five land worth 38.44 crore was purchased in two years, from the contract to the wedding of Mrs. Shambhavi. Mr. Kishhor asked why Mr. Choudhary’s accounts came from Mr. Choudhary’s accounts and his wife’s accounts associated with confidence.
“Try to scratch your image”
Mr. Choudhary said that his daughter’s painting had been made.
“The property was purchased on 21.02.2021 by my daughter from her statutory income and resources. This property is clearly listed in his election affidavit.
He also said, “Prashant Kishor has no political integrity or any vision for public service. He simply does an unfounded statement and conspiracy so that the public with unfounded accusations. ”
Mr. Choudhary said that Mr. Kishhor also falsely said at a press conference that among his wife, Mrs. Neeta Keskar Choudhary, and Mrs. Anita Kunal, the wife of late Kishore Kunal.
He claimed that he had never had any direct or indirect connection with the activities of the trust mentioned by Mr. Kishhor or other confidence.
Mr. Choudhary said his public life was completely transparent and clean. The law would take part in its course and the truth would be revealed in court, he said.
He added that the false and unfounded accusations of Mr. Kishor hurt him deeply and his family and should publicly apologize for making such accusations.
He warned that, given the circumstances and documented facts, Mr. Kishhor had already been sent to a defamation of 100 crore.
“According to the announcement, Mr. Kishhor must enter an unconditional apology and orally within seven days at a press conference.
