The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has disrupted the interests of Telangans about Krishna Waters by agreeing to only 299 TMC FT Water and left the remaining 512 TMC FT on the residual Andhra Pradesh, Minister for irrigation N. Uttam Kumar Reddy.
On Tuesday, he spoke to the newspaper in Nový Delhi and said: “The organization was adopted for almost 10 years by BRS administration and it was nothing but the betrayal of the farmers of Telangany and districts susceptible to drought.
The Minister called on the political unity necessary for the fight and stated that regardless of which party ruled by neighboring states, Telangana would not endanger her rights. “Whether the Karnataka has the government of Congress, Andhra Pradesh is controlled by TDP or BJP at the helm in Mahari, Telangana will fight uncompromisingly for his fair share,” he said.
Mr. Uttam Reddy said that the almatti dam had increased strongly against Karnatakam, and directly damaged the interests of Telangans. The state government would strengthen its argument with the Supreme Court to challenge the proposal and prevent Karnataka from continuing. “The attitude of our government is very clear that it will not allow any steps to reduce the share of telangana. We will approach the Supreme Court to ensure that Karnataka will not allow the almatti dam to increase the height of the Almatti dam,” the Minister said.
