Minister of Health C. Damodar Raja Narasimha ordered the officials of the health department that all government hospitals in the state hire retirement staff as security supervisors aimed at professionalizing and strengthening the safety of the hospital throughout the city.
On Monday, the Minister stated at the inspection meeting that the safety in hospitals must be managed by trained and physically adapted staff. Suggested that a significant proportion of security workers from the armed forces pension be adopted, employing tender rules that only provide those who are under 50 years of age. All hospitals should be established by CCTV monitoring rooms, with safety contracts including responsibilities for monitoring and protection of doctors, medical staff and patients.
Officials emphasized gaps in the field of hygiene, safety, patient care and eating services. They noted that some suppliers hired older and unfit staff due to weak tender conditions. The Minister stressed that security staff plays a major role not only in safe but also in maintaining cleanliness along with hygienic workers.
“Sanitation offers should be strict, including certified pest controls and forcing the standards of scientific purity. Only qualified staff should be used in patient care, with at least 60% of employees.
